How tall are you? 8 stone doesn't sound like a lot at all. Also, 1,200 is very low. The calculator works on the assumption that a 3,500 calorie deficit will result in a pound lost, so it takes into account exercise calories and how much you've eaten to come up with that number.
It's unlikely that you track your diet or exercise 100% accurately, but I find that it does provide a rough guide.
I know it's tempting to lose the weight as quickly as possible, but it's much better to lose a pound a week, even half a pound. Much more sustainable.
